10,2 Million Euro in first TONO distribution of 2024

This year’s first distribution from TONO amounts to 118 million Norwegian kroner, roughly equivalent to EUR 10,2 million. A total of 53,3 million kroner, 4,6~£ million Euro, is allocated to rightsholders across the globe.

On Friday March 15, TONO distributed 118 million Norwegian kroner (equivalent to EUR 10,2 million) to songwriters, composers, lyricists, and music publishers within Norway, as well as to partner organizations in other countries. This is the first of the year’s four major settlements.

“With a total of 118 million Norwegian Kroner, which approximately equals 10,2 million Euro, the March Distribution is back at the level of the last March record from 2020. Just over 45 percent of this is allocated to our sister societies across the globe, totalling at 53,3 million Kroner, or approximately 4,6 million Euro. “ says Karl Vestli, CEO of TONO.

  • NRK (5 channels) for the 3rd quarter of 2023
  • TV2 (8 channels) and TV Norge for the 3rd quarter of 2023
  • NRK TV for the 2nd quarter of 2023
  • TV2 Play for the 2nd quarter of 2023
  • TV commercials (TV2-group, TVNorge, Discovery, MAX) for the 3rd quarter of 2023

Concerts / “Live events”

  • Mega concerts, theater, revue, and exhibitions (settled continuously)
